POSITION PURPOSE: 
To provide process support to CEDA, and QC. Finding problems and recommending solutions. Help maintain quality standards of the product and plant. 

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 
•    Monitor processes, perform functions, and project work as directed by supervisors and production/engineering need. 
•    Work with CEDA/engineering on software and database programs to track production and waste issues.
•    Conduct chemical audits.
•    Conduct WFW/DFW audits and report findings to CEDA management team.
•    Conduct extrusion audits on high cabs, wash downs, centering, regeneration, aquarium temperatures, quick fill, and stripe cart settings.
•    Perform extrusion tub audits for watering and gassing of casing. 
•    Conduct wet end slack removal and pre-dryer audits. 
•    Conduct dryer audits for missing guides.
•    Conduct pallet audits.
•    Inspect the amount casing is being cut off pulled reels due to getting behind at the dry end. 
•    Correct any quality-related issues that may affect the Loudon plant’s quality policies, as received from QC personnel. 
•    Communicate results as directed.
•    Track percent in standard daily in the solution house. 
•    Review plant systems and report/correct any parameters that are not within specification. 
•    Maintain the operation of the casing size control systems, local manufacturing standard databases for production equipment and update as new standards are received. 
•    Coordinate with management any special runs, machine tests, and evaluations. 
•    Report possible operating issues affecting safety, environment, production, and/or waste.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 
•    High school or GED
•    Effective communication skills.
•    Good observation and recording. 
•    Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
•    Demonstrated good people skills. 
•    Good computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office tools.
